HYROX Training Gear – What Athletes Recommend

HYROX requires speed, strength and endurance, making it an extremely challenging event that can test all aspects of your fitness. But how you prepare for this event can have a significant impact on your overall performance and comfort. Find out :https://www.homefittools.com/products/hyrox-equipment.html

This is where the right gear makes all the difference. Whether it’s a pair of shoes that lean into speed or an outfit that minimises bounce during burpees, the right training kit can have a huge impact on your performance. We spoke to athletes about their go-to gear for preparing for a HYROX competition, and the items they recommend to make the most of your training.

Best Hyrox Training Gear for Peak Performance

Most athletes we spoke to cited the Puma Deviate Nitro line-up as their preferred shoes for laceing up for a HYROX race. Puma is an official HYROX partner, and the brand’s latest model offers a combination of stability and grip for running rounds and each of the eight functional exercise stations. But many other shoe brands are popular among HYROX competitors, with Resilience coach Nikki Pifit’s favourites the On Cloudmonster trainers, which offer “cushion for the runs and control for sled work.”

The majority of athletes also favoured loose-fitting clothing that can be easily moved in and out of different station positions, with many opting for shorts over longs to reduce chafing. Similarly, the right sports bra is vital for keeping you supported through the high-intensity running and HIIT moves. Athletes praised the movement-friendly cuts of Lululemon and Nike Dri-FIT, while Saya was a popular choice for its functional yet flattering designs.
